An meinen neuen Job in einer Bäckerei-Konditorei habe ich mich noch nicht gewöhnt. An einem Tag fange ich mittags um 13 Uhr an, am anderen um 6 Uhr früh. 6 Uhr ist für mich schwierig, da ich eher eine Nachteule bin. Den letzten Gang mit dem Hund mache ich immer nach Mitternacht - dann um 3:30 wieder aufstehen um um 5:00 in der Strassenbahn zu sitzen ... meine "Hobby-Energie" reicht nur noch für kleine Taschen :-)

Until now I did not get accustomed with my new job at the bakery confectionery. One day I begin at 1 o'clock at noon, the other day at 6 o'clock early. 6 o'clock is very difficult for me, because I am rather a night owl. I always make the last walk with the dog after midnight - get up at 3:30 again, to sit in the cable-car at 5:00 o'clock… my "hobby energy" is only enough to make small bags :-)

Zum Blumenbasteln bin ich noch nicht gekommen .... aber gehäkelt habe ich wieder :-) Ein kleines Kleid (3cm von Schulter bis Saum) und eine Umhängetasche (3cm Beutelhöhe ohne Tragegurt)

Am Abend möchte ich noch einmal Blumen basteln und zwar Erika. Da mir immer nur ein ganz kleines Budget fürs Hobby zur Verfügung steht habe ich überlegt aus was ich das krümelige Blumenmaterial machen könnte: Islandmoos finde ich optimal, 25 g -> 1,99 €

Neulich habe ich auf einem Blog wunderschöne mini Tauchlackblumen entdeckt, ich weiß leider nicht mehr wo :-( Früher waren sie mal sehr beliebt. Dafür habe ich mir ein paar Blättchen mit Nagellack vorbereitet. Der Lack ist extra dafür gekauft, nicht für meine Nägel :-)
(Der Draht wird um einen Zahnstocher gewickelt um ein schönes rundes Blatt zu bekommen)

Later, in the evening I want to make erica. I always have a very low budget for my hobby, so I thought how to make the crumbly flower material: Iceland moss is optimal, I guess. 25g less than 2 €/$
Some days ago I saw wonderful mini ( don't know the right word) "dip lacquer" flowers on one blog. Sorry, I don't remember where :-( I have prepared a few little leaves with nailpolish. The polish isn't for my nails :-)

Mein Blog war jetzt fast 6 Wochen verwaist, das tut mir wirklich leid.
Hitze, Arbeit, Hochwasser, ein paar andere private Dinge - ich habe mir keine Zeit für den Blog, Foren oder Groups genommen, mir stand überhaupt nicht der Sinn danach.

Es ist fast soweit! Am kommenden Wochenende darf ich meiner Freundin Andrea Coppi wieder auf der 1:12 in Soest helfen. Mensch, darauf freue ich mich sehr!

Da mein Budget immer sehr begrenzt hat Sissi mir vorgeschlagen ein paar kleine Taschen zu nähen, um mit dem Erlös die Spritkosten zu finanzieren.
Heute (ich bin immer soooo früh) habe ich über diese clevere Idee nachgedacht. Das ist ein schwieriges Thema für mich, da ich immer denke meine Sachen sind nicht gut genug -> und dann noch an Fremde verkaufen?
Okay, ich versuche es. Es sollen Einkaufstaschen werden. Ich habe ein paar Entwürfe gemacht und mit der Puppe getestet ob die Größe stimmt. Gleich mache ich mir Schnittmuster und morgen am Abend starte ich den ersten Versuch... Heute schaffe ich das nicht mehr, meine kleine Tochter muß noch zum Reiten und anschließend zum Schwimmen ...

Okay, I'll try it. I thought about shoppingbags. I made some schemes and tested with the doll the size of the bag. Today I'll make the patterns and tomorrow evening I'll start the first attempt… (today I' m busy with my small daughter, riding and swimming…)

Die Spargelsaison hat in der letzten Woche begonnen!
Seit ein paar Jahren verkaufe ich in der Saison Spargel und andere Produkte des Schmücker Hof . Auf diesen Job freue ich mich immer sehr, er macht mir sehr viel Spaß.
Zur Zeit ist das Wetter leider grau, kalt und windig so kommen weniger Kunden als sonst üblich und nach 9 Stunden bin ich eiskalt und steif gefroren :-(
Ich hoffe auf Sonne und ein wenig Wärme, viele gut gelaunte Leute, reife, duftende Erdbeeren ....

Ein Körbchen aus einem Stoffdreieck genäht.

The buttons are a gift from my lovely friend Sissi from Amica. The flowers are bought at EuroMinis.

Ich habe zum ersten Mal Mini-Torteletts gemacht.

Die Formen habe ich vor langer Zeit von Taenia bekommen. Für den Teig habe ich lufttrocknendes efaplast genommen (mit Acrylfarbe angemalt), die Sahne ist Styroporkleber und das Obst ist Nagelschmuck.

I've also made my first cakes.

Long time ago I got the cake tins from Taenia. For the dough I took air-drying clay (painted with acryl), the cream is Styrofoam adhesive and the fruits are fingernail ornaments. The coffee set is bought at EuroMinis.

Bei der Tasche habe ich mir Mühe gegeben. Papierschnitt gemacht, geklebt um zu sehen ob mir die Proportion gefällt, wieder verworfen, neu gemacht .... Bis ich zufrieden war. Als nächsten Schritt habe ich den Oberstoff bestickt. Anschließend wollte ich ihn abfüttern dafür habe ich ?Wie dumm kann man sein? die Nahtzugabe komplett abgeschnitten 8-(
Um es nicht gleich entsorgen zu müssen habe ich alles mit einem Kopflochstich umnäht. Sieht halt nicht so schön und ordentlich aus ....

I made effort with the bag. Made models from paper... Until I feeled content. Next step I embroidered the outer fabric. Than I wanted to make the lining ?How stupid can one be? I cutted off the complete seam allowance 8-(
I made a button hole stitch all around (against fringe). It don't looks so beautifully and neat….

Ich habe mal wieder Topflappen gehäkelt :-)
Besonders witzig finde ich das Kleid.
In 1:1 mag ich diese Kleid-Topflappen nicht, in 1:12 finde ich es niedlich. Was denkst Du?
Der linke und der rechte sind aus Seide, die vier in der Mitte aus Poly- und aus Baumwollnähgarn mit Nadelstärke 0,5 mm.

Especially the dress is funny.
In real size I don't like those dress-potholders, but in 1:12 scale they are cute. What do you think? The left and the right ones are made of silk, the four in the middle are made of poly- and cotton sewingthread with hook size 0,5 mm

Beim surfen durchs Netz habe ich gestern die Comfort Dolls entdeckt. Den Link dazu findet Ihr links in der Sidebar.
Pat Winter hatte die Idee, Frauen in tiefer Krise ein Symbol in die Hand zu geben das sie daran erinnert das es draußen in der Welt andere Frauen gibt, die an sie denken oder sich verbunden fühlen, dass es trotz allem noch Liebe und Licht in der Welt gibt.
Mich hat die Idee so berührt, dass ich gleich ein paar Scraps herausgesucht habe. Da ich ungeübt bin und zur Zeit renoviere brauche ich noch ein wenig Zeit um das erste "Püppchen" fertigzustellen.
Hier seht Ihr den Anfang.
Da der Engelskopf, den ich unbedingt verwenden wollte braun beige ist, habe ich erst mal alle Stoffstückchen in ein wenig Wasser mit 2 Beuteln EarlGrey und Salz durchgekocht.Dann habe ich aneinander genäht und erst als ich den Patch soweit hatte habe ich mir Gedanken über die Form gemacht. Die 8er Form schien mir gefällig.

Große Überraschung und Freude: heute kam ein Päckchen von meiner älteren Schwester (ich habe drei Schwestern) Im Päckchen waren zwei große Stücke Stoff mit witzigen Mustern, Reißverschlüsse, Kordeln und ein Beutel mit einer passenden langen Kette aus Häkelkugeln, Perlen und Muscheln.

Was für eine liebevolle Überraschung!

Ein Highlight war ein zweitägiger Besuch des Europa-Parks in Rust.

Der neue Hut soll an Eis und Schnee erinnern.

Das Lurexgarn habe ich in Soest gekauft, die Wolle bei Fauvelines eBay-shop. Die Spinne ist ein Ohrring von T€dy und der Geist ist eine 6 mm Perle auf einem Zahnstocher mit Papiertaschentuch. Die Idee dazu habe ich von dieser Seite.

Am Donnerstag war ein verregneter Tag und ich hatte wenig Kundschaft an meinem Marktstand. Es war ziemlich langweilig. Um Handarbeiten zu machen war es zu dunkel also habe ich mich per Mindmapping mit dem Thema "Hexenhut" befaßt.

Bisher habe ich Minis ganz gerne mit normalem Nähgarn aus Baumwolle oder Synthetik gehäkelt.
Ach, vergiß es, Seide ist das Optimum! Das Seidengarn von Gütermann habe ich probiert, es läßt sich ganz wunderbar verarbeiten und die Deckchen sind auf eine gute Art schön weich geworden.

Usually I took normal sewingthread (cotton or synthetic) to crochet little things.
Now I know silk is the optimum! I have tried the silk sewingthread from Gütermann, it is very nice to work with. The doilys are very smooth in a good way.

Wenn ich etwas Neues probieren will arbeite ich die ersten Versuche oft zunächst etwas größer. Hier mit einer 1,25er Nadel

If I want to try something new I often do the first tests a bit bigger. In this case I took a hook size 4

Nach dem zweiten Versuch habe ich eine 0,6er Nadel und Nähgarn genommen.

After the second test I took a hook size 12 and sewingthread

Für ein Baby ist es noch zu groß - habe aber keine Lust gleich noch einen Versuch zu starten ;-) das muß warten.

Das hat mir Spaß gemacht, ich habe mir die Anleitung und das Material gekauft um es weiter zu probieren.

1:12 in Soest - Miniaturfair

Am Wochenende war ich zur 1:12 Messe in Soest.

Eigentlich wollte ich in diesem Jahr nicht zur Messe fahren weil ich gar kein Budget dafür hatte ... aber, dem Himmel sei gedankt, kam es anders.

Kurz vor Ostern erzählte mir Sissi, dass Andrea Coppi für diese Messe keine Unterstützung am Stand hätte, ob ich Lust und Liebe ... uuuaaah Lust und Liebe???

Ich habe mich sooo gefreut!!! Ich kannte Andrea nicht, kannte nur ihre Internetseiten (hier ist die zweite Seite) ...

Es war wunderbar und ich bin sehr dankbar dafür. Andrea ist eine tolle Frau: offen, kreativ, positiv, an vielem interessiert ... es war eine Bereicherung zwei Tage mit ihr zu verbringen

This weekend I was at the Miniaturfair in Soest
This year I don't want to go there because I hadn't wellfed my piggybank. Be that as it may, near Easter Sissi told me that Andrea Coppi has no support for this fair and if I feel the mood and the love to support her....mood and love??? I felt sooooo happy!!

It was wonderfull and I feel deeply grateful.
Andrea is a nice woman: candid, creative, interested in many things, ... It was a enrichment to spent two days with her.

Habe seit ein paar Wochen nicht mehr gepostet
No new posts since a few weeks

- Ende April hat mein Job beim Spargel- und Erdbeerverkauf wieder angefangen
- the Asparagus- and Strawberry-sale started at the end of April. My springtime job since 3 years

- und davor hatte ich mit meiner kleinen Tochter Marie Isabell einen wunderbaren Osterurlaub bei Sissi von Amica
Sissi und Ihr Mann haben uns wieder eine tolle, liebevolle, gastfreundliche Woche geschenkt mit viel Spaß und Gelächter, Unterhaltung, Entspannung, gutem Essen, einer Flut von Geschenken...
Und zu meiner großen Überaschung und Freude konnte ich am Ende auch noch an einem Treffen/Workshop der Spätzles Connection teilnehmen.
Leider, leider habe ich (wie immer) vergessen ein paar Fotos zu machen. Die Kamera hat den Urlaub wieder in den Tiefen meiner Tasche verbracht :-(

Banderolen für die Minis

Ich habe Originalbanderolen eingescannt, je 4 Stck auf ein DinA4 Blatt (Querformat) - insgesamt 8 verschiedene Banderolen.
Dann habe ich diese Grafik in Word kopiert, auf 2,03 x 2,79 cm verkleinert (den kompletten DinA4 Scan) und so häufig kopiert bis eine Seite locker gefüllt war.
Immer genug Platz zum schneiden lassen, ist so winzig ;-)

Auf diese Art und Weise habe ich 200 Banderolen auf einem Blatt, das reicht erst einmal!

So schauen die ersten 4 fertigen Knäuel aus:

I have scanned Originalbanderolen (I dont know if the word Banderole exist in english, means the paperbelts around the yarn) 4 pieces on 1 sheet of paper, 8 different belts alltogether on two papers.
I made a copy in word and shrink the graphic to 0,8 x 1,1 inch. I filled a sheet of paper with those two graphics -in this way I get 200 belts on one paper. This is enough for the first time.
The photo shows 4 ready made balls of yarn.

Wollknäuel für den Handarbeitsladen

Seit vorgestern wickel ich zwischendurch immer Mini-Woll-Knäuel. Du liebe Zeit, das hält ganz schön auf! Bis Du da genug für einen Laden hast....
Ich wundere mich, dass Leute 10 Döckchen Wolle in dieser Art (über Strohalm gestopft) für nur 1,00 Euro bei eBay anbieten :-o
Für zwei Stück brauche ich zwischen 5 und 8 min. je nach Wolle, ohne am Kaffee zu nippen --> und dann ist da noch keine Banderole drumherum!

Auf dem Foto sind 70 Döckchen=> ein Hauch von nix, quasi:

I make mini balls of wool for a little craft-shop. It takes a lot of time! I wonder why people sell those on eBay 10 piece for only 1Euro :-o
It takes me between 5 and 8 minutes to make two of them, without a nip of coffee. And in this time I have not made a paper belt around.
The photo shows 70 balls of yarn => a breeze of nothing, quasi!
